Also David. I think you really missed the point of the show. It is no more about freezing embryos than A Modest Proposal was about eating babies. This is about the anxiety, longing, hope, and fear many women have about having children which often translates into decades of postponement. (Cryostasis is a pretty good metaphor). Also, there are tens of thousands of frozen embryos languishing in storage lockers all over America. What do you think happens when embryos don't get implanted? I find it a sad and fascinating phenomena to explore. I do so with humor but I think also with heart because its so personal to me. You are not really part of this conversation. That's ok but you shouldn't butt in. You did not hear correctly.

Dear David, I'm sorry you were not sat immediately upon house opening. I have an infant daughter who needed my attention. My house manager told me there were two angry gentleman making a fuss because of this. I guess that was you. There were two people in the audience who really hated the show that night. Also you. That's fine. But you stood out, everyone else was laughing. Was this really the worst show you've seen? Barry Shapiro stopped my stage manager to say "Excellent. Great Show" and was highly amused throughout. I think I'll trust his judgement since I've never heard of you.

She got a standing ovation. If you had stayed you would have realized that the play while controversial has its fans. Did you not hear all the laughter around you? It was the most laughs I've heard at a Fringe show so far. Some people get it, some people don't. We loved it and are returning for a second round. I think this was just not your show. Hopefully the people who liked it will turn out and support it anyhow.
